Johannesburg, South Africa « From Us With Love

I arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa yesterday at 2:30pm, South African time. South Africa time is 6 hours ahead of Jacksonville, Florida.

Both flights were fantastic. Jacksonville to Washington, Dulles was 1 1/2 hours flight time and Washington to Johannesburg was 14 1/2 hours.

I was met at Johannesburg Airport by friends and they are looking after me very well. Tomorrow, I will depart Johannesburg and fly to George, South Africa. From George, it’s about an hour drive to Knysna.

Tomorrow, in Knysna, I am planning to visit Percy Mdala High School. One of our Corporate Sponsors, Seanet, recently installed high speed internet at the school and I am anxious to see Nicholas, the Principle and see how this has impacted the school.

Glad you arrived safe and sound. Had a terrible lightning storm last night. All is well today. Went to a luncheon at Cypress Village with Church Women United. Had tour throught new assisted living unit. Hope I never need it. Hope all goes well on your trip. Love, Mom
