KET oversees the Crèches or Pre-Schools in the Knysna Municipality. One of the major obsticals that keep these Crèches from receiving a subsity from the government is that most of them are on private land and not Municipal land.

From Us With Love has sponsored 5 high school students from impoverished areas of Knysna to attend this cultural arts program.

I met with the Western Cape Street Soccer League on Monday, January 26th. We discussed the most recent Homeless World Cup held in Melbourne, Australia and what they felt went well and some areas they can improve on.

Chantell is a little girl at Magdaleenjies Crèche that Taryn identified as having problems with her eyes.

We stopped by Sinethemba today and those boys have completed 19 fence panels. We think we need 32 to build the fence at the Habitat house. We were so proud of them and these boys just light up when you praise them.

This is Khanyisa Edu-Care Centre Crèche. Khanyisa is located in Qolweni Township and has beautiful views of The Heads. This school has 52 children a 2 staff members.

We visited Nomonde Child Care Crèche this morning. Nomonde is located in Flenter Township. There are 25 children that attend this Crèche and there are 3 staff members running the school.
